This actually reminds of my own style. The minimalist approach to this suite the character more. No detail seems to be squished in and looks a bit more relaxed. The character is vastly better than your other submission as well. Still a bit stiff but still pretty realistic and anatomical. The TV head, I feel should be a more consistent box shape. Lines on the side of it feel a bit forced as well. Yo could have definitely added depth to the tv, conveying more depth and dimension to it. If that didn't quite made sense, you could always message me and I could show you an example. That however, is a stylistic choice so maybe that's what you wanted. Either way, good job on this! Its a marked improvement.

The character illustration isn't bad. I just feel like the pixel art isn't up to par. It looks pretty stiff, from the character stance to the flame in his hands. I feel like its due to a bunch of spots were there is a line where a slight curve would add to the figure. This just needs adjusting and fine tuning until all the bits and pieces feel like a cohesive whole. All that being said, this is far from a bad piece. Keep developing your art!

Uh, would it be weird to ask if you could critique the rest of the "pixel-art but not really" drawings i did? theres like seven of them and theyre on my account's art gallery.

The blending would be fantastic if the texture was skin and not fur.Idk if that was a deliberate choice on your part ( which is cool ) but I think having fur like texture to the character would sell the wholeness of the character and she is. The blending you used here definitely shows of lighting and its consistency but but creates contradiction between the fury texture I'd expect from an animal and the smoothness of the character we see. The background also seems kinda flat ( especially the water) but honestly, this ain't a bad piece. Keep developing your craft!

This does Edd and his creations enormous justice. I think you really captured his legacy fantastically in this. Love the style ( 1st thing I thought of was Scott Pilgrim vs the World ).

I was planning to use some pixel art style of Irem's beat em up before making this but I chose Scott Pilgrim vs. the world instead.

I really love this piece! The style is simplistic and almost minimalistic yet has so much depth, from the gradation to soft line throughout all of it. The color pallete , among the previosly mengioned, gives the environment and situation mystique and a want to explore it. Fantastic job!

Great! You nailed the shading. The incorporation of the blurs at the ends of the image create this lens focus effect, which I personally really dig. I also really dig the coloring style which, avoids cell shading and goes for a more pastel-ish look to it. I love this anime and you, my friend, did it incredible justice. Keep creating art, can't wait to see your future works.

I love the concept of this! I love the subtle color choice for the palette! The smoke effect is simple but has a really neat and almost anime-ish humor to it. All-in-all, really good job!
